Show Notes on Dream a Little Deeper: The Aristocats
The Aristocats is the first of four animated feature-length films that Walt Disney Productions released in the 1970s. It is the first film released under the leadership of the Disney Troika - Roy Disney, Donn Tatum and Card Walker, who took leadership roles in the company after Walt Disney passed away. Their main goal, mostly Roy’s goal, was to finish all the projects Walt started before his death. This included the creation of the east coast Disneyland Park - Disney World - and the CalArts program. With this, the veteran animators took leadership and oversaw the production of the film. Upon its release, the critics and audiences thought the film was decent and fun.
